Science Experiment
Last Thursday, the students in my class practiced making observations. They performed an experiment to see what would happen when they combined different food coloring drops. They first put in one drop of red food coloring and drew a picture of their observations. Then they added a blue drop. Finally, they added a yellow drop. Most of the groups were excited to see their mixture turn green. One group was a little disappointed to see theirs turn orange. We discussed why most turned green and why one group's jar of water turned orange. It was a fun experiment and they did a great job of following directions carefully.
